Board Meeting to Decide Bonus Share Issue
Nestle India had announced on June 19, 2025, that a board meeting would be held on Thursday, June 26, to consider and approve the proposal for issuing bonus shares. The decision will be subject to requisite regulatory approvals.
“A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to be held on Thursday, 26th June 2025, to inter alia consider and approve the proposal for the issue of bonus shares,” the company informed via an exchange filing on NSE and BSE.
First Bonus Share Announcement in Company History
This would mark Nestle India’s first-ever bonus share issuance since it was listed on Indian stock exchanges. While bonus shares are new territory for the FMCG giant, the company has maintained a strong track record of consistent dividend payouts.
Recently, Nestlé India recommended a final dividend of ₹10 per equity share (face value Re 1 each) for the financial year 2024–25, reflecting its ongoing commitment to rewarding shareholders.
Nestle India Share Price Performance
Nestle India’s share price opened at ₹2,422 on the BSE today, up 1% from the previous close of ₹2,404.45. As market enthusiasm grew, the stock reached an intraday high of ₹2,435.
Since the announcement of the board meeting on June 19, Nestle India stock has surged nearly 5%, signaling strong investor confidence in the upcoming decision.
